Is Allah's pleasure with the first and foremost of the Emigrants (Muhajirun) and the Supporters (Ansar) inclusive of His forgiveness for their sins if they committed them?

1 min readAlso available in العربية

Allah Almighty stated in His Book that He is pleased with the foremost of the Muhajireen (Emigrants) and the Ansar (Helpers) and those who followed them in goodness, and He has prepared gardens for them. Any sin committed by them, they might have repented from it, or performed good deeds that expiated it, or Allah forgave them due to their precedence, or through the intercession of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, or they were afflicted with trials that atoned for them. And error is forgiven for them if they were mujtahideen (exercising independent reasoning). The reprehensible acts committed by some of them are few and overshadowed by their virtues, and they are the best of creation after the prophets.
