"What are some of the mistakes made by some pilgrims during the Farewell Tawaf? "

"Praise be to Allah. It is confirmed in the two Sahihs that the last adherence of the people to the House is circumambulation, except for the menstruating woman. Therefore, circumambulation must be the last deed of Hajj.

There are common mistakes in the Farewell Circumambulation: 1- Some perform the Farewell Circumambulation before stoning the Jamarat, and this is a mistake because it is not the last adherence to the House.

2- Some perform the Farewell Circumambulation and then stay in Mecca, which invalidates the circumambulation unless there is a need, like buying goods or loading luggage.

3- Some exit the mosque after the Farewell Circumambulation walking backward, and this is an innovation not practiced by the Prophet ﷺ.

4- Some stand at the mosque's door after the Farewell Circumambulation to bid farewell to the Kaaba with supplication or peace, and this is also an innovation not practiced by the Prophet ﷺ."
