Is it permissible to pay the Kaffarah for Ramadan for building a mosque, or for a sick person, or to help a poor person get married, in the event that one is unable to find sixty needy persons?

The expiation for intercourse during the daytime in Ramadan is obligatory in order: freeing a slave; if that is not possible, then fasting for two consecutive months; if unable to do that, then feeding sixty poor persons. The amount for feeding is 750 grams of rice for each poor person. It is not permissible to give the expiation as charity for building a mosque or for other purposes, nor for a sick person or to assist someone getting married, unless that person is poor. Sixty poor persons must be fed; feeding fewer than this number or repeatedly feeding the same poor person for sixty days is not sufficient, unless no one else is available. If you only find one poor person, you can pay the value of the food to a trustworthy charitable organization to distribute it among the poor.
