If the agricultural partnership becomes invalid, the customary rent for the land and the worker must be paid, and the produce belongs to the owner of the seeds and the expenses. As for the zakat on "jilban" (cowpeas/vetch), if it was watered by the sky or springs, or if it was athari (irrigated by roots reaching groundwater), then one-tenth is due. If it was watered by irrigation (with effort), then half of one-tenth is due, provided it reaches the nisaab (minimum taxable amount).
