Does a Muslim testify that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, and believe in all other matters of Islam without contemplation, learning, or research, and is that consistent with the texts of the Qur’an and the Sunnah?

Islam is a religion of pure human nature (Fitra), knowledge, and intellect. Whoever is exposed to it accepts it without hesitation. If a person encounters a doubt, they should ask people of knowledge and reflect on the texts of Islamic law. A Muslim is constantly learning and contemplating. A sound intellect accepts the truth and cannot contradict the true religion. If something becomes unclear to a person, then there is either a flaw in their understanding of the religion or in their intellect. One who is born to Muslim parents and remains true to their pure nature accepts Islam without needing to search. However, one who is born to non-Muslim parents or encounters a doubt needs to ask people of knowledge, as Allah the Almighty said: "So ask the people of the Dhikr [i.e., the Message] if you do not know," and the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Why did they not ask if they did not know? Indeed, the cure for ignorance is asking."
