How can one find peace and psychological tranquility when feeling injustice and inequality in the work environment, especially with the feeling that one's prayers are not answered?

Everything that happens to a person is by the decree of Allah, but this does not mean surrender. Rather, one must repel evil with good, innovation with the Sunnah, and bad deeds with good deeds. Sheikh Abdul Qadir Al-Jilani explained that the true man is one who contends with destiny, not one who conforms to it. Ibn Taymiyyah commented on this by stating that a Muslim is commanded to do what Allah has enjoined and to repel what He has forbidden, and to repel the decree of Allah with the decree of Allah, citing the hadith: "Indeed, supplication and affliction meet between heaven and earth," and the hadith: "They are from the decree of Allah." All occurrences happen by the decree of Allah, and Allah has commanded us to remove evil with good as much as possible, such as removing disbelief with faith. A person must repent, enjoin good and forbid evil, and strive in the path of Allah. They should not abandon striving for what benefits them, relying solely on destiny. Rather, they should do what Allah and His Messenger have commanded, as stated in the hadith: "The strong believer is better and more beloved to Allah than the weak believer... Be keen on what benefits you, seek help from Allah, and do not be helpless. If something befalls you, do not say: 'If only I had done such and such,' but rather say: 'It is the decree of Allah, and what He willed, He did.' For 'if only' opens the door to the work of Satan."

Therefore, any injustice that occurs is by the decree of Allah, but this does not mean surrender. Rather, it must be contended with by what Allah has legislated, such as admonition, advice, and forbidding evil, and then by litigation and recourse to legitimate judges. A distinction should be made between injustice and what is not. For example, preventing a woman from a training course that involves traveling without a mahram or being in seclusion with men is not injustice; rather, it is compliance with the commands of Allah.
