What is the ruling on applying henna to the hands and feet of both the groom and the bride simultaneously?

It is permissible for the bride to apply henna to her hands and feet for the purpose of adornment for her husband. However, it is not permissible for a man to do so because it is considered a feminine adornment and constitutes imitation of women. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, cursed men who imitate women and women who imitate men.
