Is it correct to use the verse: "Or do those who commit evil deeds think that We will make them like those who believe and do righteous deeds—equal in their life and their death?" as evidence for the bliss and torment of the grave, by negating equality between believers and disbelievers in death?

The verse encompasses the hereafter and what it contains of the life of the Barzakh, the torment of the grave, and its bliss. Commentators believe that Allah does not equate evildoers and good-doers in this world and the hereafter, for the state of the people of bliss differs from the state of the people of wretchedness.
