Are the exorcist's claims of an evil eye, envy, and a lover jinn true, and is seeking help from a legitimate exorcist permissible?

Delayed marriage does not necessarily mean the presence of magic (sihr), as these may be delusions, as Sheikh Ibn Baz mentioned. If one is certain of the presence of magic or an evil eye, its cure is through supplication (du'a), legitimate ruqyah (exorcism), recitation of the Qur'an, and remembrance of Allah (dhikr). It is best for a Muslim to perform ruqyah upon themselves. If a raqi (exorcist) is needed, there is no harm in seeking assistance from a righteous raqi, while observing modesty and avoiding seclusion.
