What is the authenticity of the Hadith: "Whoever seeks aid in My might and My strength, I shall soften iron for him"?

This phrase was mentioned in a long narration cited by Ibn al-Qayyim, who attributed it to Imam Ahmad's Musnad. However, the verifiers of the Musnad have pointed out the absence of this narration in it. Shaykh al-Albani also stated that attributing it to Ahmad is an error and that it bears signs of Isra'iliyat (narrations of Jewish origin). Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah mentioned this phrase within a dream of a righteous person, and it indicates the importance of worship and seeking Allah's help.
