Is the hadith: "By Him in whose hand is my soul, were it not that factions of my Ummah would say about you what the Christians said about Jesus son of Mary, I would have said something about you today such that you would not pass by any Muslim except that they would take the dust from the soles of your feet seeking blessing thereby," authentic?

The virtues of Amir al-Mu'minin Ali ibn Abi Talib are numerous, and among the greatest of them is the saying of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, to him: "Are you not pleased to be to me as Aaron was to Moses?"

It has three chains of transmission, all of which are fabricated and weak, due to the presence of abandoned, weak, and accused narrators in their chains.
