The answer

Familiarity between young men and women, under the pretext of religion, can be a ploy from Satan, and a love relationship between the sexes before marriage is not condoned by Islamic law. A married woman must treat her husband well and cut off her relationship with any other young man, and turn her heart away from attachment to him. Self-talk is not sinful if it is involuntary, but these thoughts must be resisted, and one's time should be occupied with what is beneficial. Feelings of love and affection are not a prerequisite for the stability of married life, for Umar ibn al-Khattab, may Allah be pleased with him, said: "Were houses built only on love? Then where is care? And where is responsibility?" He also said: "Not all houses are built on love, but rather on companionship based on lineage and Islam."
