Will the deeds and fasting of an alcoholic who is trying to quit by fasting, but then returns to drinking, be accepted, knowing that advising him will change his treatment of his daughter?

Drinking alcohol is a major sin, and texts have been revealed prohibiting it and condemning its drinker. Whoever is afflicted by it must repent to Allah and increase in good deeds. The questioner should advise her addicted father gently and kindly, and seek help from his wife and close friends. The worship of an alcohol addict is not accepted as long as he persists in it, due to the saying of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "Whoever drinks alcohol, his prayer will not be accepted for forty mornings. If he repents, Allah will accept his repentance. If he returns, Allah will not accept his prayer for forty mornings. If he repents, Allah will accept his repentance. If he returns, Allah will not accept his prayer for forty mornings. If he repents, Allah will accept his repentance. If he returns a fourth time, Allah will not accept his prayer for forty mornings. If he repents, Allah will not accept his repentance and will make him drink from the River of Khabaal." What is meant by non-acceptance here is the non-rewarding for it.
