Did the Mothers of the believers wear black?

It has not been established that the Mothers of the Believers always wore black; rather, what is established is that they wore various colors, such as red and yellow. It has been reported that they used to wear red cloaks, and Umm Salamah was seen wearing a shirt and a wrapper dyed with safflower. Aisha used to wear garments dyed with safflower while in a state of ihram, and one of the Prophet's wives was seen circumambulating the Kaaba wearing garments dyed with safflower.
