Do the deeds offered to the poor and students of knowledge with the intention of being a "karamah" (miracle/honor) and a gift to the deceased benefit him?

Scholars are in agreement that the benefit of charity and supplication reaches the deceased, based on the statement of Ibn al-Mubarak: "There is no disagreement concerning charity." And offering this food (al-karamah) is a charity from which your father will benefit, by Allah's will.
