What is the ruling on aborting a fetus in the first month if the mother fears a recurrence of her previous suffering?

The woman and her guardian should be keen to choose a righteous husband who is pleasing in his religiosity and character, after inquiry, research, and investigation, and not be deceived by appearances or chase after worldly gains. If the husband is ill, patience is better for the wife and the fetus than divorce, and perhaps Allah will heal the husband and improve his condition. As for aborting the fetus before forty days are complete, there is a well-known difference of opinion among jurists regarding it.
