Auxiliary buildings attached to the mosque, such as service facilities, do not take the ruling of the mosque. As for anasheed, it is the raising of the voice with poetry, and it is permissible to recite and listen to it in the mosque if its subject matter is good. Indeed, Hassan ibn Thabit used to recite poetry in the Prophet's Mosque. Al-Nawawi said: "In it is the permissibility of reciting poetry in the mosque if it is permissible, and its recommendation if it is in praise of Islam and its people." However, anasheed that have deviated in subject matter or melody, or are accompanied by musical instruments, are not permissible to listen to.
