Does "good" in the Almighty's saying: "And indeed he is vehement in his love of good" mean life, and what is the reason for this designation?

The meaning of "خير" (good) in the verse: (وَإِنَّهُ لِحُبِّ الْخَيْرِ لَشَدِيدٌ) "And indeed he is passionate in his love of wealth" is wealth, and this is by consensus of the exegetes. Several points can be gleaned from the scholars' discourse regarding calling wealth "good," among them: that wealth is originally good and a pillar for people in matters of their religion and worldly life. It is the foundation for charitable deeds and for fulfilling basic needs, even if some people use it for evil. Furthermore, Allah Almighty called wealth "good" because people consider it as such, regardless of whether it is lawful or unlawful. Although some opinions state that wealth is not called "good" unless it is abundant, the preponderant view is that the term "good" encompasses both small and large amounts of wealth.
