Is it permissible for me to slaughter a sacrificial animal (udhiyah) that was gifted to me, provided it meets the conditions for a sacrificial animal? And is it permissible for me to trim my nails, cut my hair, or perform ghusl if I am appointed to slaughter sacrificial animals for a financial fee?

1. Whoever owns a gift is permitted to dispose of it by selling or other means. Therefore, you may sacrifice the animal gifted to you if it meets the conditions of an udhiyah.

2. One who is deputized to perform the sacrifice is not obliged to refrain from cutting his hair or nails. Rather, this is recommended for the owner of the udhiyah, based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "When the ten days [of Dhul-Hijjah] begin, and one of you wishes to offer a sacrifice, then let him not touch any of his hair or skin."
