Is selling subscriptions to the Orbit Showtime satellite TV package permissible or forbidden?

It is not permissible to work for a company that offers satellite channels displaying unlawful content such as music, immodest display (tabarruj), intermingling of sexes, and obscene films, or if the majority of its channels display such unlawful content. This is because it constitutes cooperation in sin and transgression, and the dissemination of vice. Allah Almighty says: "And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression. And fear Allah; indeed, Allah is severe in penalty."
