Is Zarathustra a prophet, and is Zoroastrianism a divine religion that has been subjected to distortions and innovations?

The Quran states that every nation has had a warner, and Allah has not informed us about all of the messengers. The existence of similarities between Zoroastrianism and Islam does not imply the prophethood of Zoroaster, because his true nature is obscure and unreliable, and his religion is polytheistic, venerating fire and based on the existence of two gods, one of good and one of evil. Revelation has not indicated that the Majus (Zoroastrians) are People of the Book; rather, the Quran classifies them with the polytheists.
