The criterion for analyzing and classifying foods and beverages lies in their true nature. Every intoxicant is forbidden, whether in small or large quantities. What does not intoxicate in large quantities is permissible. It is not permissible to name permissible drinks after forbidden drinks that are well-known among disbelievers and wicked people, because this involves imitating them and showing disrespect for the law of Allah.
