What is the ruling on abandoning the Fajr prayer, given that it is a confirmed Sunnah and not an obligation?

The two rak'ahs of Fajr are among the emphasized supererogatory prayers that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, consistently observed and encouraged, saying: "The two rak'ahs of Fajr are better than the world and what it contains." It is recommended to make them light. Maintaining them is desirable, and whoever omits them does not sin, but he has committed something disliked and missed out on much good if their omission was intentional.
