Is anything incumbent upon one who slept past the Miqat in an airplane and did not enter into a state of ihram until As-Sail?

If this person is from Riyadh and went to As-Sayl and entered into ihram there, then there is nothing upon him, because he entered into ihram from his miqat. However, if he came from Medina, then it is obligatory for him to go to the miqat of the people of Medina and enter into ihram from there. If he enters into ihram from As-Sayl, then a fidyah (expiation) is due upon him, because of the Prophet’s (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: “They are for them and for whoever comes to them from other than their people.” So, passing the miqat of the people of Medina for someone who passes through it from others is like the people of Najd passing the miqat of the people of Najd without entering into ihram.
