Triple Divorce: The majority of jurists hold that a triple divorce occurs if pronounced in a single utterance encompassing three, or by repeating the word "divorce" three times, unless the intention was mere emphasis. This is the fatwa. Divorce itself is not an injustice, but he should not resort to it, especially given the wife's patience.
