Will all people on Earth embrace Islam, or will it be limited to the Arabian Peninsula and its surroundings? And how will Jesus Christ, peace be upon him, "abolish the jizya" and then "accept nothing from anyone but Islam"? What is meant by that?

The scholars hold two views regarding the interpretation of the texts "war lays down its burdens" (يضع الحرب أوزارها): The first is that it refers to the Arabian Peninsula and its surroundings, and the second - which is the view of the majority - is that it refers to generality, meaning that the authority of Islam will appear over the entire earth. As for "he will abolish the jizya" (يضع الجزية), its meaning is its annulment and non-acceptance from anyone after the descent of Jesus, peace be upon him, so nothing will be accepted but entering Islam.
