If a Muslim performs ablution after the Adhan and wishes to wear socks, should he wipe over them or wear them without wiping?

Whoever wears the two socks after performing ablution is not required to wipe over them until their ablution is nullified, because they purified their feet by washing. They only wipe over them if they perform ablution thereafter, should they wish to wipe over them, as long as they put them on while in a state of purity and have fulfilled the conditions for wiping.
