Is a wife cursed if she travels or leaves without her husband's permission, having only her father's permission, especially after problems related to the husband's jealousy of their son and his request for divorce and waiver of the deferred dowry?

A woman is not permitted to leave her home except with her husband's permission, even if she is at her parents' house. The mere permission of her parents does not make it permissible. If the husband curses unjustly, his curse will not be answered. However, if he is wronged, it is feared that his curse may be answered, bearing in mind that cursing a Muslim is not permissible. Marital life should be based on understanding. A wife's insistence on going to her parents without her husband's permission is considered an act of defiance (nushooz) and her right to financial support (nafaqah) is forfeited. The husband is not obliged to financially support his wife's child from another man unless she stipulated this condition at the time of marriage. A wife is permitted to house her young child from another man with her if the husband was aware of this at the time of marriage. This right is further confirmed if the wife stipulated it during the marriage contract. Reconciliation is advised whenever possible, and divorce should not occur except when its benefit outweighs its harm. In the event of a dispute, recourse should be made to the Sharia court to resolve the disagreement.
