Is it permissible for a non-muhrim to eat from game hunted by a muhrim?

Hunting land animals is forbidden for someone in a state of ihram (consecration for pilgrimage) according to the Qur'an, Sunnah, and the consensus of scholars. If someone in ihram hunts an animal, they have disobeyed Allah, and it is forbidden for them to eat from it, by scholarly consensus. Likewise, it is forbidden for others to eat from this hunted animal according to most scholars. The animal slaughtered by someone in ihram becomes carrion, and it is forbidden for all people to eat it, according to the majority of jurists.
