What animals is it permissible to hunt during Hajj? And where? And when?

It is not permissible for a pilgrim in the state of ihram to hunt land animals or eat them. Similarly, it is forbidden for a non-pilgrim to hunt within the sacred precinct (Haram). However, it is permissible for a pilgrim in the state of ihram to eat seafood. The evidence for this is the Almighty's saying: "Permitted to you is the pursuit of water-game and its use for food - for the benefit of yourselves and those who travel; but forbidden is the pursuit of land-game as long as you are in the state of ihram."
