Is hunting during the Sacred Months forbidden?

There is no objection to hunting during the sacred months. The prohibition of hunting is related to two matters: being in a state of ihram for Hajj or Umrah, based on the Almighty's saying: (O you who have believed, do not kill game while you are in a state of ihram), or hunting within the boundaries of the Sacred Precinct (Haram) of Mecca or Medina.
