Is it permissible for a woman to uncover her face to study medicine or work in a Muslim country that stipulates this?

Scholars have differed regarding the obligation of covering the face. According to the view that holds it obligatory, it is permissible for a woman to uncover her face out of necessity or need, such as studying medicine in a country that requires uncovering the face, if she or the Muslims are in dire need of it, and she cannot find another university. She must cover her face as soon as she leaves the study hall.
