How can one reconcile the fact that the Day of Sacrifice (Yawm al-Nahr) is the best of days with Allah, and the fact that the days of the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah are more beloved to Allah? And what is the preponderant view regarding the superiority between Friday and the Day of Arafah?

Many hadiths have been narrated regarding the virtues of the first ten days [of Dhul-Hijjah], the Day of Sacrifice (Yawm al-Nahr), and Friday. Sheikh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah clarified that the best day of the week is Friday, by scholarly consensus, and the best day of the year is the Day of Sacrifice, citing the hadith: "The best of days with Allah is the Day of Sacrifice, then the Day of Qar." The Day of Sacrifice is preferred over the Day of Arafah because it is the day of the Major Hajj (al-Hajj al-Akbar) and contains specific rituals not performed on other days.
