Is it permissible, in Islamic law, to use Asafoetida (Al-Hantit), tar (Al-Qatran), and Sindab (Sandalwood) in ruqyah (Islamic exorcism), as stated in the book "Fayd Al-Qur'an fi 'Ilaj Al-Mas'hoor" by the author Maher Walid Kousa?

If it is proven through experience that using the aforementioned things is beneficial in treating black magic (sihr) or demonic possession (mass), and there is no obedience to Satan or imitation of sorcerers and charlatans involved, then there is no objection to it. This is due to the general command of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, to seek medical treatment, such as his saying: "For every disease there is a cure, and if the cure for a disease is found, it will be cured by the permission of Allah, the Mighty and Exalted."
