Allah has favored some prophets and messengers above others. Messengers are superior to prophets, and the prophets of strong will (Ulu al-Azm) are superior to other messengers. The prophets of strong will are Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon them. We do not differentiate between the messengers in our belief in them all, and we believe that they are all messengers from Allah. However, after the prophethood of Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, his law abrogated all previous laws, and it became obligatory for all people to follow him alone.
