How can a Muslim answer a question about the preeminence of prophets, such as Abraham and Muhammad, taking into consideration the verse: "We make no distinction between any of His messengers"?

A Muslim must believe in all prophets and messengers without distinction, for Allah sent them to confirm one another and to bear tidings of Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him. To ask about the highest-ranking among the prophets with the intention of causing division or denigrating any of them is a specious, devilish question. Prophets have varying degrees of merit with Allah based on divine selection and Lordly choice, not based on a specific deed, bearing in mind that Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, is the Seal of the Prophets, the most excellent in status, and the master of the children of Adam.
