Is it permissible to divide the 'Aqiqah such that one part of it is slaughtered in the wife's place of residence and another part in the husband's place of residence?

If the intention is to send half of the slaughtered 'aqiqah to the husband, there is no objection. However, buying half of a slaughtered sheep is not sufficient. If the newborn is male, there is no objection to one of the two sheep being in one country and the other in another country.
