Is a husband entitled to prevent his wife from going to the mosque, and does a woman receive the same reward for her steps to the mosque?

A husband does not have the right to prevent his wife from going to the mosque if she seeks his permission and there is no suspicion or temptation, based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Do not prevent women from their share of the mosques if they seek your permission." Her going out is conditional on her not being perfumed, not adorned, not mixing with men, and that no corruption is feared from her going out. If the husband prevents her despite these conditions being met, she will have the reward for going and praying.
