When does the time limit for wiping over socks expire if one started wiping over them after Dhuhr prayer?

A resident may wipe over his khuffs for one day and one night, and a traveler for three days and nights. The duration of wiping begins from the time of the first nullification of ablution after wearing the khuffs, according to the soundest opinion. So, if a person performs ablution and wears his khuffs at Dhuhr time, then his ablution becomes nullified after Asr prayer, he may wipe until the time the nullification occurred after Asr on the following day if he is a resident, and until the same time on the fourth day if he is a traveler.
