Is it permissible for a woman observing her iddah to comb her hair, apply oil to her head, trim her nails, remove unwanted body hair, use a miswak and shampoo? And is it permissible for her to cut, shave, or pluck her eyebrows?

It is permissible for the woman in iddah to comb her hair and oil it with olive oil that is free from perfume. It is also permissible for her to trim her nails, pluck and shave armpit hair, and shave pubic hair, as well as mustache and beard hair if she has any. Similarly, it is permissible for her to use a miswak with toothpaste, and to use perfumed shampoo and soap. However, it is forbidden for her to remove hair from her arms or legs, or to remove eyebrow hair by any means.
