How will the wives of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, be with him in the rank of al-Wasilah, when it is a rank designated for only one servant, namely the Prophet Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace?

Al-Wasilah is a degree in Paradise that will only be for one servant, and that is for the Prophet (peace be upon him). His saying: "It is not fitting except for one servant from among the servants of Allah" indicates that it is for one of the prophets by right and deserving. Nevertheless, it is reasonable that his wives would join him to complete his honor and enjoyment of his status, as in the hadith of Ammar ibn Yasir from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her): "And by Allah, she is the wife of your Prophet (peace be upon him) in this world and the Hereafter." Scholars have unanimously agreed that the wives of the Prophet (peace be upon him) are his wives in this world and the Hereafter. However, it is more appropriate to refrain from asserting such a matter of the unseen for which there is no explicit text, while firmly affirming that Al-Wasilah is a status for the Prophet (peace be upon him) alone.
