Does one who frequently and intermittently experiences urethral discharge (madhy) take the ruling of a person with incontinence (saalise), such that he performs ablution and prays in the mosque, or does he pray at home directly? And what about Friday prayers and visiting the Haram?

A person afflicted with سلس (urinary incontinence or constant discharge) is someone from whom madhy (pre-seminal fluid) is continuously discharged without interruption, allowing them to pray with valid ritual purity. If the discharge of madhy is not continuous, but rather stops occasionally, then the person is not considered to be afflicted with سلس. In this case, they must repeat their ablution (wudu) and wash their private parts (istinja) if madhy is discharged after performing wudu, and they should pray after the discharge has ceased. However, if the discharge is continuous for half or more of the prayer times, then they fall under the ruling of a person afflicted with سلس according to the Maliki school, who do not consider it obligatory for such a person to perform wudu for every prayer; rather, it is considered desirable (mustahabb) by them.
