Is the wife disobedient or sinful if she refuses to live next to her husband's family in a rural area with a Shiite majority, preferring to live in the capital in a Sunni area, especially given that she informed her husband and his family of this condition before marriage? And what is the proper way to convince the husband of this?

A wife is obligated to move with her husband to wherever he desires, unless doing so would harm her, or she stipulated at the time of marriage that she would not reside in a specific place or that he would not move her from her country. In such cases, the condition must be fulfilled, as the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "The conditions most worthy of fulfillment are those by which you make intimacy lawful." It is advisable for the spouses to cooperate in choosing the place of residence, considering the benefits and harms, while appreciating the husband's longing for his family and avoiding disputes. Furthermore, residing in safe areas and among the people of Sunnah is preferable to residing in places of fear and innovation. If the benefit of being close to family conflicts with the benefit of security, upholding religion, and the well-being of children, then the greater benefit must be chosen.
