Does gambling during Ramadan while fasting affect the fast?

Gambling during fasting hours is a false act that must be avoided, as it is an abomination and a work of Satan, exposing its perpetrator to Allah's wrath.

Some scholars, like Ibn Hazm, held the view that intentionally committing a sin invalidates the fast, while the majority of scholars maintained that the fast is not invalidated by intentionally committing a sin, although the reward for fasting decreases, and the fasting person may have rendered their fast liable to non-acceptance.

What is incumbent upon the one who commits such an act is repentance and regret, and their fast is valid, fulfilling the obligation according to the majority of scholars.
