Do the stains of prostatic fluid on a garment become pure by sprinkling water on them without removing the substance of the impurity, or must they first be purified and then washed in the washing machine? And does a small amount of water (the size of two palms) become impure upon contact with prostatic fluid?

The opinion that it is sufficient to purify madhy (pre-seminal fluid) from clothes by sprinkling water (nadh) is a strong one, supported by the Sunnah.

Scholars have differed on whether a small amount of madhy is forgiven due to hardship or not. The correct view is that it is forgiven, especially for a young person.

Those who hold that sprinkling suffices say that the place becomes pure by doing so, and this is what Sheikh Taqi al-Din preferred.

The water that comes into contact with that impurity is not considered impure in the place of purification. If it separates unchanged, it is pure, according to the correct view.
