Does the deceased's female cousin inherit the same as a male cousin, given the presence of one sister and (male) cousins?

The paternal cousin is not among the heirs. If the deceased has no relatives other than her sister and the questioner, then the sister's share is half, according to the Almighty's saying: "They ask you for a ruling. Say: Allah gives you a ruling concerning kalalah (a person who dies without parents or children). If a man dies, and he has no child but has a sister, she will have half of what he leaves." The remainder goes to the questioner by way of ta'sib (residuary heirship), according to the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Give the prescribed shares to those who are entitled to them, and whatever remains is for the closest male relative." It must be noted that matters of inheritance are delicate and complex, and it is not sufficient to rely solely on a fatwa. Rather, they must be referred to Sharia courts for investigation and verification that there are no other heirs, wills, or debts that take precedence over the rights of the heirs.
