What is the ruling on saying: "Labbayka Ya Rasool Allah (At your service, O Messenger of Allah)" and "Mawlana so-and-so (Our Master so-and-so)"? And is reviling a divine attribute, like cursing? And are there verses in the Holy Qur'an that include reviling the deities of the polytheists?

As for the saying: "Labbayka, O Messenger of Allah," it is a common expression intended to bring the invoked one into the heart and to address the presence with the heart, and this is permissible.

Cursing (la'n) is an actual attribute established for Allah the Almighty, meaning expulsion and banishment from His mercy, and the legal texts have indicated it.

As for insult (sabb) in the sense of reviling, it only appeared in the Quran in His (the Almighty's) saying: "And do not insult those they invoke other than Allah, lest they insult Allah in enmity without knowledge."
