Is this considered ikhtilat (impermissible mixing) or does it involve anything forbidden?

Establishing a website aimed at facilitating marriage for young people through legitimate means, free from impermissible elements, is not objectionable. Rather, it is a form of cooperation in righteousness and piety. There is no harm in a woman undertaking this work, provided she ensures her own safety from temptation and that her communication with young men is limited to what is necessary and what serves the work's objective. We advise the sister to intend, through this work, to seek Allah's pleasure and reward, for facilitating marriage for young people and assisting them in this endeavor is a righteous deed for which its doer receives a great reward if they seek it from Allah.
