The answer

This is from the deception of Satan. The cure for envy is easy through reliance on God, entrusting all matters to Him, showing gratitude for blessings, and using the established incantations and invocations, foremost among them being the two Mu'awwidhatayn. Abandoning obedience out of fear of envy is a weakness in faith, a slackness in religion, a deficiency in resolve, and a corruption in judgment. So strive in obeying your Lord, being sincere to Him, and seeking His help in doing what pleases Him. If you are certain of being afflicted by the evil eye or envy, the treatment is what was mentioned, not abandoning obedience.

And Allah knows best.
