How can one overcome the state of wavering in the relationship with Allah, where commitment increases in times of hardship and weakens in times of ease, and how can one achieve sincere repentance from sins without reverting to them?

Humans turn to Allah in times of hardship but turn away from Him when the hardship is removed, except for those whom Allah protects, as stated in His exalted words: "And when adversity touches man, he invokes Us, lying on his side or sitting or standing; but when We remove from him his adversity, he passes on as though he had never invoked Us for an adversity that touched him." As for the true believer, he obeys his Lord in all circumstances, showing gratitude in prosperity and patience in adversity. Every deed has a period of activity and enthusiasm, and as long as a Muslim adheres to the obligatory duties, this does not fall under blame; rather, it aligns with human nature.
